When my boys got there own room we took their bunk bed apart and used this on one of the beds my son who is now 12 absolutely loves this it helps him sleep better because it is so dark in there. It is very sturdy Our kitten loves it as well, it is easy to get into as it zips open I would highly recommend this
I deal with some anxiety and overstimulation issues due to a genetic condition, so I bought this item to use in my living room as a sort of sensory deprivation chamber, to help me relax and meditate more effectively. I call it my Calm-Down Camper. I put a folding mattress and a U-shaped body pillow inside it, as well as a blanket that feels like a sleeping bag. I like to crawl in there and put on my noise-canceling headphones, and listen to music until the world fades away.
It does a great job of blocking light, has many nice adjustable openings for airflow and exit, and thus far seems quite sturdy. It was easy to set up as well. Some of my nicest memories as a child are of camping, so this taps into that too. I plan to sleep in it when company comes over, since I usually give them my bed. So it’s kind of like a second bedroom in my tiny apartment.
I will say that the color of the tent is not really charcoal, or grey as it appears in the photos. It’s a straight black color, but I don’t object to that, as I think the darker fabric blocks more light. I also like that the whole setup can be folded back up and put away for a while if I don’t need it. My ex-boyfriend saw it and immediately bought the toddler size for his daughter, and she loves it too! Very happy with my purchase. Thank you! :)
Bought 2 of these when we moved to a new house. My 3 and 5 year old were having a hard time adjusting to being in a new place. 1 kid didn’t like the shadows that came in the window. The other would wake up from the light of the hallway when the other got up to use the restroom during the night. They love these tents and they feel like they are camping when we go to bed every night. It has helped them sleep so much better! Especially now that it’s getting lighter out at like 6am these tents help block out more light and helps them sleep a little longer. I will say it makes changing the sheets a real pain but I’m willing to put up with that because these help my kids sleep better.
